Introducing: PPC Consulting, PPC Training, and PPC Audits - Project-Based PPC Management

10/25/19 UPDATE: Hello Facebook Agency Visitor Person!  We’re delighted to have you visit this awesome post. About a year ago, ZATO stopped offering Facebook Ads solutions so we could focus solely on what we do best: Google Ads. Because of this, we’re always interested in partnerships with great Social Advertising agencies (like yourself, wink wink!) and we offer referral fees for signed clients!  Anyway, back to it, and happy reading…

Post Summary

Not every PPC problem requires a monthly retainer

Look, we get it. You have an in-house team (or some guy in a basement) running your PPC campaigns and you don't want to pay an agency to do the same thing they're already doing. But who do you turn to when you have questions? How are you going to implement a Performance Max transition strategy from your Shopping Campaigns with minimal interruption?

One of the biggest problems with a dedicated in-house team, is that they're limited to the experience offered by your account alone.

One of the greatest benefits to an agency is that they have accelerated learning and testing of concepts across different accounts.

What if there was a way to get the benefits of both a dedicated in-house team, and an experienced agency squad?

ZATO is happy to now offer consulting and training services, along with our traditional managed-services option (learn more about ZATO running your PPC account here).

Our consulting and training services are geared towards the in-house team who wants a second opinion, another set of eyes on the account, someone who's been there before on this test, or might have some good thoughts of things to try or avoid.

We're the helpful voice on the other end of the line you wish you had when you first started in PPC.

What We Don't Do:

We're not here to tell you how to run your business. We're not here to confidently claim you're doing it all wrong or right. We're not a fractional CMO or marketing director. Too many consultants are (perhaps, rightfully) accused of being better at selling themselves and acting confident than actually knowing how to solve a brand's big picture problems.

That's not us.

What We Do:

Think of us less as traditional consultants, and more as someone who spends their days in Google Ads, in multiple accounts, who can help you think through specific account-related PPC questions.

  • How should you switch to Performance Max campaigns in this account?
  • What are ideas for testing a new Product Title for your top products?
  • What are some things you should think through before switching this campaign from manual bidding to TROAS?
  • What are some brainstorming ideas for expanding your reach into more upper funnel searches?

These are just ideas of the types of questions you might just want a second opinion on, and we're here to help.

We're not going to tell you how to run your business, but we just might save you thousands of dollars with a phone call when we tell you to avoid a bad practice in your account costing you money that you didn't even know about.

Why not just buy a PPC course?

We're big fans of books and courses (we've even made our own PPC Courses and Books), and we recommend others here: Learning PPC: Learning PPC: A List of Free Google Ads Training Courses, Books, Blogs, and Communities.

PPC Courses play an important role in PPC training, but they have limitations. Specifically,

  • A PPC Course needs to be constantly updated for the rapid-based nature of Platform changes, and this rarely happens.
  • A PPC Course excels at general knowledge, but what about your ultra-specific PPC question?

One of the things I noticed when I first started my Shopping Ads course on Udemy, was that 95% of the questions were very specific use cases. Learning general things about how PPC works is really important for a student, but a practitioner of a current account needs specific help NOW in order to stop losing money.

That's where having a team you can call on the phone to get a specific answer is so incredibly valuable.

You have lots of questions? We have lots of answers.

What do our clients have to say?

What is the Cost?

We charge hourly for this service since everybody needs something just a little different and we want to do the best we can for you (not shove you into an averaged project cost).

  • Our rate is $250/hour (charged by the minute, we keep it simple around here).
  • This includes our whole team, we don't charge for individual team members so you can get the massive benefit of team-thinking for your problem when applicable!
