In the world of Smart Shopping Campaigns, some of the most vocal PPCers on this topic have been myself, Mike Ryan of SMEC, and Patrick Gilbert of AdVenture Media Group. We've laughed, cried, argued, hugged about this new campaign type.. not really, but in the early days, we did engage in thoughtful debate in the blogosphere (to steal a phrase from 2010) and on LinkedIn as well.

Who is Mike Ryan?

Mike is a brilliant thinker and works at SMEC. They focus on Google Shopping and Automation (remember their app, Whoop! ?) and Mike brings a deep understanding of algorithmic PPC to the conversation.

Who is Patrick Gilbert?

Patrick recently wrote his industry-shaping book, Join or Die. It is a must read for every PPCer, as it focuses on reframing our thinking in Paid Media management as automation matures. Patrick works at AdVenture Media Group, a NYC agency started by Isaac Rudansky.

Who is Isaac Rudanksy?

Isaac is probably best known for his massively successful Udemy course on Google Ads. He has had over 170K people take the course and it is the highest rated course on all of Udemy. Isaac has the annoying habit of thinking deeply about everything, which makes him one fantastic podcast host.

Who is Kirk Williams?

Meh, just some guy that sneaked his way onto the stage to learn from others. If you are in Ecommerce PPC, give this a listen! It will be well worth your time.

Kirk is the owner of ZATO, his Paid Search & Social PPC micro-agency of experts, and has been working in Digital Marketing since 2009. His personal motto (perhaps unhealthily so), is "let's overthink this some more."  He even wrote a book recently on philosophical PPC musings that you can check out here: Ponderings of a PPC Professional.
