🎙 Introducing the PPC Ponderings Podcast 🎙

10/25/19 UPDATE: Hello Facebook Agency Visitor Person!  We’re delighted to have you visit this awesome post. About a year ago, ZATO stopped offering Facebook Ads solutions so we could focus solely on what we do best: Google Ads. Because of this, we’re always interested in partnerships with great Social Advertising agencies (like yourself, wink wink!) and we offer referral fees for signed clients!  Anyway, back to it, and happy reading…

Post Summary

The Best PPC Podcast Out There?

I mean, we're not going to claim that, but my mom might think it is. If anything, it's a new type of PPC Podcast where we use a journalistic style approach rather than simply a few people chatting off the cuff.

The Purpose of the PPC Pondering Podcast

In this limited run podcast (8-10 episodes in total), we'll be taking a harder look at key themes from my book: Ponderings of a PPC Professional. Similar to my book, the point of this podcast, is to primarily propel you to ponder all things PPC.

While the book was put out only a year ago, much has already shifted in the PPC landscape, and we'll be using an investigative journalism style narration (rather than strictly a back-and-forth interview format), while interviewing key PPC names you've come to know and love (and some new ones as well!).

Some of the many themes we'll be digging into at length are:

  • The future of keywords
  • Attribution
  • Bidding Automation
  • Machine Learning
  • The AIDA Funnel
  • Advertiser Data Rights
  • PPC Agency Sales Tactics
  • PPC Agency Pricing
  • etc

Even if one or more of these themes doesn't intrigue you, you may find it beneficial to listen in on our guest's thoughts, AND we'll be releasing some of these longer form interviews as bonus episodes! After doing the first few expert interviews, I can promise that these alone are jam-packed with insights and learnings from super smart PPCers!

In Preparation for the PPC Pondering Podcast

When: The first episode will be live October 31, 2021, exactly one year to the date that the PPC Ponderings Book was available for sale on Amazon! (No, we're not "that" good, it kind of just happened that way and we decided to ride that cool coincidental timing).

The remaining "core" episodes will be released as we complete them, likely with 3-4 weeks in between them. While we are working on the next core episodes, we will be releasing bonus episodes of some of our expert interviews. We thought those would be helpful to listen in on since it's smart people talking about what they know and do best, PPC!

Where: The PPC Ponderings Podcast will be available most places there are podcasts.

*Finally, a very special thank you to Anu Adegbola, a special friend in PPC who helped guide my wandering interest in creating a podcast toward the specific theme that it became.
